A swimwear brand that began in 1914 as a knitting company in Sydney, Australia, best known for competitive racing suits and men's swim briefs.
In 2008, Speedo released the sharkskin-inspired full-body swimsuit ‘LZR Racer.’ By August 2009, swimmers wearing it had set 93 world records. After the tech-suit arms race, FINA banned non-textile materials and full-body racing suits from 2010.
