funfact.wiki is currently developed and operated by a single individual. As a result, these terms and policies may not fully cover every possible situation. In some cases, rules may be applied retroactively, or the operator may need to make unilateral decisions. We ask for your understanding as we work to establish and improve the service.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of all services provided by funfact.wiki ("the Service") and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service and its users.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to the website and related services provided by funfact.wiki.
  • "User" refers to both registered members and visitors who use the Service.
  • "Member" refers to a user who has registered an account.
  • "Card" refers to a unit of knowledge content created by users.
  • "Tag" refers to a topic page that groups related cards.

3. Acceptance and Modification

  1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise communicated to users.
  2. The Service may modify these Terms when reasonable. Changes take effect 7 days after announcement.
  3. If you do not agree with modified Terms, you may discontinue use and delete your account.

4. Registration and Accounts

  1. Registration is completed when you agree to these Terms and verify your email.
  2. You must provide accurate information. False information may result in restricted access.
  3. You are responsible for securing your account and may not transfer or share it with others.

5. Use of the Service

  1. The Service provides features including card creation, editing, voting, discussions, and collection management.
  2. Non-members may view content. Features such as card creation, voting, and discussions require membership.
  3. The Service may modify or suspend all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons.

6. Content and Copyright

  1. All content posted by users (cards, discussions, tag descriptions, etc.) is published under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
  2. Users retain rights to their content but grant permission for use under the above license.
  3. You must not post content that infringes on the copyrights of others.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in the following:

  • Posting false or unverified information as fact
  • Defamation, insults, or discriminatory language
  • Repeated posting of advertising, spam, or promotional content
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Unauthorized collection or distribution of other users' personal information
  • Using automated means to access the Service or collect data
  • Exploiting security vulnerabilities or threatening the Service's security

8. Enforcement

  1. The Service may impose warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans on users who violate these Terms or the Guidelines.

9. Disclaimer

  1. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of user-posted content.
  2. The Service is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters or system failures.

10. Account Deletion

  1. Members may request account deletion at any time.
  2. Upon deletion, personal information is immediately removed. Content you posted may remain under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
