Alga
A group of relatively simple photosynthetic organisms living mostly in water, ranging from microscopic single-celled phytoplankton to large seaweeds such as kelp.
Some sea slugs eat algae and keep the stolen chloroplast inside their own cells. The borrowed chloroplasts can keep doing photosynthesis for weeks or months, giving the animal a temporary solar battery.
