Vantablack
Vantablack is a family of super-black coatings developed by the British company Surrey NanoSystems. Its best-known early form uses vertically aligned carbon nanotubes to absorb most incoming light.
When sculptor Anish Kapoor bought exclusive artistic rights to Vantablack—the world's blackest material absorbing 99.965% of light—artist Stuart Semple sold his pigments to everyone except Kapoor. His site's cookie button reads 'I am not Anish Kapoor.'
