Sea Peoples

Around 1200 BCE, eastern Mediterranean powers collapsed together in a historic 'Late Bronze Age collapse', blamed on raiders known only from Egyptian inscriptions. Called the 'Sea Peoples', unidentified after 3,000 years; migration and pirate theories are unproven.
