Resonance
A physical phenomenon in which a system oscillates with sharply increased amplitude when driven by an external force at its own natural frequency.
In the mid-2000s, playing Janet Jackson's 'Rhythm Nation' would crash laptops. Unlike other songs tuned to A=440Hz, it was tuned to A=450Hz, causing resonance with certain hard drives.
