Korean War
The Korean War began with North Korea’s invasion of South Korea in 1950 and involved the two Koreas, United Nations forces, and Chinese forces. Fighting ended with the 1953 armistice, not a peace treaty.
Ethiopia's Kagnew Battalion fought in the Korean War and won all 253 battles without a single defeat. As the only African nation to send ground troops, over 120 soldiers were killed in action, but not one was ever captured as a POW.
